Sky Changes On the Kuskokwim
A novel about a Yup’ik man from boyhood to elder on the Kuskokwim River, the ninth largest river in the U.S. It’s a river many, even in Alaska, have never heard of. It deals with the all too frequent loss of loved ones, from natural and very unnatural causes, in this unfamiliar land. It deals with the disparity between the Native children and the school they must attend, and with the negative effects of substance abuse on Yup’ik way of life.

Conflicting Landscapes: American Schooling/Alaska Natives
This text is considered by some to be the definitive resource for educators working with Alaska Native students. It has been used as a college text by at least six professors in AK universities. Several AK school districts have purchased this book as a training resource for all district staff. It is a research and experienced-based resource written by two authors with a combined sixty-plus years of experience with AK Native education.
